As a hobby I like to do video editing. Most of my efforts go into making Anime Music Videos. I chose this type of video because I like the creative freedom that making a music video provides, while Anime provides excellent source footage that is easy to work with and extremely varied.

Here are a selection of the videos that I have made in the past. You can also browse my YouTube profile here.

Shinedown – Second Chance to My HiME

Description: This video is my latest work, a combination of a powerful song combined with emotional scenes from a quirky and distinct anime series. I consider the editing work in this video to be some of my best, but far from perfect. My attempts at lip sync were much better this time around, but the time required for further polish was deemed too much.

Santana – Smooth to Love Hina

Description: This video took me several weeks to make with most of that effort being concentrated on the few seconds of lip-sync. I am very happy with the result and it still remains my favorite AMV. The video currently has over 800,000 views.

Welcome To My Insanity (‘Welcome to NHK’ to Faktion – My Insanity)

Anime: Welcome to NHK
Song: Faktion – My Insanity

Mission Impossible Theme to Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu

Description: This AMV was my entry to the AmeCon 2006 AMV competition. Unfortunately I did not win, but I am still very happy with the result. It currently has around 8,000 views.

Azumanga Daioh to Badger Badger Badger

Description: Whipped up in a couple of hours just for fun! 9,000 views.

Vertical Horizon – You’re A God to Ah! My Goddess

Description: My first attempt at a romantic AMV, I am still pleased with this AMV even though technically it is not very impressive.

The Corrs – Long Night to Onegai Twins

Frozen Silence – Memories to Welcome to NHK
